On Thursday, November 14, 2024, the selection of ForschKiste kits from the Didactic Center Zug will be presented. Three staff members from the Life Science Learning Center will be on hand to answer your questions. Participation in the presentation is free of charge.

New user regulations from August 2024
The Zug Didactic Center will introduce new user regulations from August 12, 2024. This will include significant changes to the lending periods for media and the reminder system.
Please contact us if you have any doubts or if you don’t agree with the new user regulations. If you don’t contact us in either of these cases, it will be assumed that you have accepted the new user regulations.

About us
The media library is available for use to all teaching staff working or residing in the canton of Zug and to students at the University of Teacher Education. Registration and borrowing media is free of charge.
We have around 27,300 media materials for all school levels of compulsory schooling. We also have teaching materials, non-fiction books, media packages, models, educational games, hand puppets and kamishibais. The online catalog will give you an overview of our library.
The staff at the Didactic Center will be happy to assist you in finding the right school materials.

Location and route
The Didactic Center is on the 2nd floor and the building has an elevator.
You can reach the Center by bus (line 614 to the «Athene» stop) or by car (we have paid parking in the Athene parking garage). For the latest on the parking situation, see the online catalog.
There is a drop box at the entrance of the Didactic Center for returning media outside of opening hours. The building at Hofstrasse is open on weekdays until 6 p.m. and at weekends during the opening hours of the Museum of Prehistory.
